Pooch Plunge – Monday, August 13th 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The Winfield Aquatic Center will be open one last day just for the dogs on Monday, August 13th. We will be closing the pool to humans and neutralizing the chemicals to make water safe for the canines. Your pup may want to dive in or simply splash around in the shallow water. Regardless, this event is fun for participants and spectators alike, so register today! Fee is $10 until Friday, August 10th. Fee is $15 at the door. All proceeds will go to Bailey’s Barking Dog Park.
Scholarship Scramble Golf Tournament – Saturday, August 25th
All golfers and anyone who likes to have fun for a worthy cause are invited to participate in the 2nd Annual WRC Scholarship Scramble Fundraiser Golf Tournament at Quail Ridge Golf Course, Winfield, KS. This will be a 4 person scramble, registration beginning at 8:30 am and a shot gun start at 9:30 am. Lunch and prize presentations will follow play. Beverages will be available.
